An 19-yr-old from the U.S. My RL is rather boring (sadly, at my age, I don't have much of an adult life), so I won't be talking much about that in my journal. I'm just here on IJ for the slash.
About my uninteresting existence: I'm a uni student, taking courses in film studies and classics. Although graduation is a year away, I don't have any post-college plans. Procrastination and laziness are personality flaws which I embrace; hence my failure at academics. I enjoy all the free time that my current unemployment entails. Outside of school, I read manga and fanfiction, watch anime and cartoons, write original fiction, and lurk the internet. I adore most things Japanese; there's nothing I'd want to do more than visit Japan someday and wallow its unique culture. Male love is my other addiction. I love shonen-ai/yaoi manga and anime, slash fanfiction, implicit and overt homoeroticism in literature. But I also like yuri/shojo-ai manga and anime, femmeslash, and het fic. I'll read almost anything - any kink, any pairing, any fandom - as long as the narrative and characters are well-written and descriptive.
